Cheyenne Berandi is a 27 year old writer, living and working in Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from Melbourne Polytechnic's Bachelor of Writing and Publishing in 2017 with aspirations of becoming an author and working editor. Cheyenne spends as much time as she can spare working on her own writing, and helping other writers to improve their work.
Cheyenne is the middle child of five, to parents Heath and Angela Berandi. She grew up with her two older sisters, Jamie-Lee and Tori, and two younger brothers, Clay and Caleb, in the rural Victorian town of Ararat. |
In 2015 Cheyenne moved to Melbourne to undertake her degree in writing and publishing. That year she began working on her debut novel, Bound to Change, the first in what would become a series of New Adult Paranormal fiction books following shapeshifter Payton Alexander.
In 2017 Cheyenne worked as an editor and publisher on an anthology titled The Last Word, in which her short story, For the Living, Not the Dead, was also published. That same year, Cheyenne was published in Visual Impact Magazine 2017 edition #6 with two feature articles. |
Cheyenne participates in writing days, workshops, and editing practices with her best friend and fellow writer, Alyce Johnson. They often bully each other to keep them on track.
2018 saw Cheyenne's second short story Death Did Us Part published again by Yarra Bend Press. During this year she also drafted her second novel Bound to Break, and began writing her first e-book, Kindred Spirits.
By the end of 2019 Cheyenne had written the first three books in her series The Sisters of East Hartleigh. |
In 2020 Cheyenne worked as an editor on the first two e-books in Alyce Johnson's short series, The Tales of the Infused.
When Cheyenne isn't at work, writing, or editing, she loves to read. Some of her favourite books are The Princess Bride by William Goldman, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, anything by Brigid Kemmerer, and the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas.
Cheyenne is also a proud nerd who loves playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games, and cannot be steered away from classic movies like The Princess Bride, Jurassic Parks and Star Wars, but who also watches Disney movies at every opportunity. |
